Megan O Mara - Owner / Head Coach & Personal Trainer

Megan is our Head coach & owner at TRAIN Nenagh . Megan coaches a wide variety of classes at TRAIN but also offers small group and 1-1 personal training services to clients that require a more personalised approached to training. Megan has a passion for inspiring all our members and PT clients to better themselves through many forms of exercise. She prides herself on coaching all members and clients in a fun and enjoyable manner while instilling self belief and confidence during training. Megan strives on building strong , confident and healthier humans through fitness.
She has been helping people of all walks of life become stronger , healthier and happier versions of themselves for the past 6+ years. In 2022 Megan began TRAIN LADIES classes with the goal of guiding , motivating and encouraging women of all ages and backgrounds to become stronger , fitter , confident and more powerful versions of themselves. Megans also works with multiple high performance youth athletes in small groups and 1-1 , helping them prepare as best as possible for their sports through specific S & C training.

John Healy - Coach / Personal Trainer
Big lover of pints…. not so much t-shirts.
Qualifications : Personal Training Diploma
Role : John has been working in the fitness industry for 6+ years . His love for training and fitness started at a young age playing rugby with Nenagh Ormond Rugby Club. Johns background is in Strength & Conditioning ,which he implements when training teams for performance . John also implements a crossfit/functional fitness approach to his clients, teams and his own training when required.
His role at TRAIN is coaching a variety of our group classes , ensuring our members are performing movements safely while encouraging and motivating each member when needed most.
John offers team S&C services as-well as 1-1 and small group personal training services for those who would like a more individualised approach to their training .

Amy O Mara - Nutritionist & Lifestyle Coach
Qualifications : Dip. Nutrition & Lifestyle , Irish Institute of Nutrition & Health
Role: Amy has been working in the health and wellness industry for over 10 years . Amy is passionate about educating and empowering others on how to better nourish their body , understanding that it is not a one size fits all approach.
Our all inclusive membership gives our clients access to work with Amy as their own personal nutritionist & lifestyle coach . Amy’s job is to help you reach your desired goals by education you on how to nourish your body , fuel your performance and balance your overall lifestyle in order to reach optimum health .This is a totally individualised approach that includes personalised nutrition programme , recipes , accountability and support working towards your individual needs and goals.

Aoife Peters - Trainee Coach
Qualifications : 2nd year Student , B.Sc Sports Strength & Conditioning at TUS.
Role: Aoife has been a member of TRAIN since 2019 and has always shown an interest in learning and developing during her time training . Aoife is currently undergoing her 4 year studies of Strength & Conditioning , where she will form a broad knowledge base of all things health, fitness and performance related . In January 2023 Aoife joined our coaching team and is now a key part of the TRAIN Team .She coaches numerous classes each week encouraging and motivating our members when needed most.
