TRAIN 60 | CROSS TRAINING

In Our TRAIN60 class we focus on improving our functional fitness capacities through cross - training . Our program incorporates a mixture cardio ,strength and various levels of gymnastics + skill work! We utilise multiple styles of training . Train60 blends a mixture of weight lifting , cardio (of various intensities & forms) , Olympic lifting and skill work to ensure a well rounded approach to fitness is taken.

Each class can be regressed or progressed by your coach to meet your desired level of fitness/ strength . So never worry about not been able to take part. We are here to help you learn and improve during every session.

In general our TRAIN60 classes include group warm ups into a section focused on a specific area (i.e skill work /gymnastics / weightlifting ) and then we get into some prep work pre WOD .

Our WODs (workout of the day) can be between a 15-40 minutes long which change daily. Our WOD’s vary from day to day to ensure all aspects of your functional fitness journey are been met .

If you would like to learn new movements & skills , challenge yourself during our workouts and push some boundaries you may have never thought you could then TRAIN 60 might just be for you .

TRAIN LADIES|TRAIN S&C

In both our TRAIN LADIES & TRAIN S&C classes we follow a 3 day training program . This program is recommend , but not limited to our All Inclusive members as it provides training structure beneficial for increasing muscle mass , becoming leaner , training body areas consistently and improving our metabolism .Our 3 day training program alongside your tailored nutrition and lifestyle plans ensure optimal health and wellness benefits are reached.

This 3 day program focuses on increasing our overall strength , building muscle mass and endurance as-well as getting fitter . These classes include a variety of resistance training exercises through which various methods & techniques are applied. 

Classes are structured to ensure all areas of our bodies are been worked . We use a variety of equipment which allows us work our full body strength in multiple ways .Improving our mobility , flexibility , balance ,co-ordination and overall movement capacities. Our sessions include a mixture of barbell movements and compound lifts , dumbells , kettlebells , resistance bands , bodyweight work & more to challenge and improve us as best as possible . The key is to constantly progress through training consistency and progressive overload , which our coaches will guide you on.

Session structure follows a hypertrophy style to training , where moderate - high volumes (reps,sets, tempo) are applied , keeping our rep schemes between 8-15 reps. This program is great for those that wish to target many muscle groups during their training , build their strength through resistance training and improve their overall health.

We encourage clients to attend the 3 days of our S&C programs in order to reap the full benefits associated. These sessions are ideal for those who enjoy a more structured approach to training , with less cardio and high impact movements involved.

TRAIN MOBILITY & RECOVERY

TRAIN MOBILITY is a 45-minute session aimed to improve individuals range of movement. It is a combination of flexibility, balance and stretching. TRAIN MOBILITY will help to improve functional movement in the gym, in turn reducing the risk of injury and improving day to day life.

TRAIN STRENGTH

In our TRAIN Strength class we solely focus on building and increasing our maximal strength levels  across our main compound lifts - Bench , Overhead press , Deadlift , Front Squat & Back Squat with some accessory work to compliment these lifts included in sessions.

Our TRAIN Strength program runs in 8 week cycles , testing our 1RM  (one rep max )  on the last week of each cycle . This allows us to retest our maximal strength levels on each lift , from which our intensity’s (%’s) for the next phase of training will be dictated . 

From there we adjust our next phase of training variables & methods ( reps, sets , intensity , volume ) accordingly, following a lower volume (reps) & higher intensity (weight / %1RM) progression each week . The aim is to increase your 1RM by the end of each cycle.

Example Front squat progression : Week 1 - Font Squat 4x6 @60% , Week 7- Front Squat 6x1 @90-95% . 

The overall aim is  getting  stronger across our main lifts . In return creating solid foundations in many of our movements used in our TRAIN60 classes , allowing us to move better under fatigue due to greater strength levels and assist us in becoming more powerful during training. 

Our TRAIN Strength classes run on a 2 day training program , making it an ideal day to split your week up between various sessions on alternate days .

TRAIN CARDIO & CORE

TRAIN CARDIO & CORE is a 45-minute class where the primary focus is to develop your cardiovascular health and fitness endurance & stamina. It combines low-impact bodyweight movements , light-moderate weights , core exercises and cardio equipment such as the rower or the bike, giving you the best bang for your buck in 45 minutes!

TRAIN Cardio & Core is ideal for anybody looking to build their cardiovascular fitness ,get a sweat on and increase your overall fitness levels.

Open Gym

Open gym sessions are slots throughout the day where members can come into the gym and practice some movements that you may not get the opportunity to practice in the classes or do the workout of the day at your own pace. Open gym sessions are not coached, however there will be a coach in the facility during these times to help you if you need it!
